If you’re a first-time grant applicant or considering applying for grants in the future, this course is for you. This course will get you prepared for grants, whether you’re writing your own or working with a grant writer to avoid surprises and last-minute important conversations in the writing process. Designed by a grants expert, Dr Chloe Sharp, with over a decade of experience winning grants.

You will have access to the online materials and templates to go through at your own pace, you'll be able to join our Slack community to meet other first-time grant applicants.
Attend an in-person one-day workshop designed to give you an overview of grants, how to prepare you and your team for grants, and how to understand the technical aspects of grants.
You'll have access to the online course, plus five hours of live lessons and one hour of 1:1 coaching with an expert. We'll send you the joining information with the Google Meet call details. The dates of the live cohorts are: 05 November 9.30am-12pm and 07 November 9.30am-12pm.

Meet your instructor
Dr Chloe Sharp
Author of “Make Products That Matter”, exited co-founder of SnapOut - an innovation consultancy providing UX and funding services and ex-GrantTree and personally raised over £10m in funding for startups and SMEs.
Combining her PhD in sociology with practical experience, she brings a scientific approach to product research and discovery. As an ILM5-qualified coach, she emphasises data-driven, evidence-based business growth and innovation strategies. An experienced leader in grant funding, from running a grant writing consultancy for 5 years and leading the grants team at one of UK’s most trusted grant consultancies, GrantTree.
